The Volterra Technology mission is to lead and participate in one of the most critical components of this dynamic emerging Energy evolution, provide the most advanced technology available for the storage and distribution of renewable Energy. Volterra will develop and manufacture the next most effective energy storage solutions, provide installation, management and support to global energy customers. Allowing for the generation, storage and managed distribution of renewables such as solar, wind, biomass, wave and other green elements produced energy.
Our ability to comply with this noble mission is through the exclusive and innovative development of our Battery Energy Storage Technology (BESS). An advanced Lithium-ion battery IP developed by our International scientists and professors. Allowing Volterra to offer the most advanced storage solutions to the energy market, the VBEST technology large scale solutions allow for the flexibility of either mobile or stationary units from the MWh to the GWh range.
The BESS technology will initially be supplied by our Southern Ontario pilot production facility producing some of our groundbreaking BESS lithium cells.
Volterra Technology Inc. will bring new and emerging battery technologies and innovations to market, as well as contribute to a sustainable competitive Canadian economy, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, encourage growth and investment in Canadian battery technology solutions , and increase exports of clean technologies, services and expertise.
